DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for obtaining profitable new accounts within a designated territory using effective sales and prospecting techniques. The Regional Sales Manager will be hands-on in every aspect of the sales cycle from discovering new opportunities to presenting to the customer C-Suite and/or key decision-makers. S/he will have a demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue, growth, and profit goals, and prior success in the Higher Education and/or Healthcare markets selling technology products. Familiarity with the food industry is a strong plus.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The Regional Sales Manager will report to the Vice President of Sales.

 

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should have demonstrated experience building a territory strategy, corporate sales plans and be highly successful and experienced building and growing channel solutions and direct B2B Sales. S/he will have 3+ years’ experience closing large figure deals and have core monitoring and evaluating skills, and background in managing sales processes. S/he will also have experience utilizing CRM to manage sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data. S/he will also have experience providing status reports with market and customer feedback to the corporate leadership team.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to:

  • Background in technology sales.
  • Start-up experience highly desirable.
  • Background selling into foodservice, higher education, and healthcare is preferred.
  • Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to partner effectively with other groups within Chowbotics, especially Customer Success.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Winning mentality and drive; willing to take on new responsibilities and go above and beyond.
  • Ability to maintain key relationships within the industry and bring current contact list and outreach to the business.
  • Have a passion for technology and strong skillset in speaking and articulating the Chowbotics value propositions.
