Chowbotics Mobile App Privacy Policy

 

In this Chowbotics Mobile App Privacy Policy (“MAPP”), Chowbotics, Inc., (“Chowbotics”, “we”, “us” and/or “our”) describes our data collection and usage practices with respect to information we collect from users of our mobile app.  Please read this MAPP carefully to understand our policy regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with this MAPP, do not download, register with or use the Chowbotics mobile app. By using our mobile app, you agree to the terms of this MAPP. This MAPP is subject to change. Please review it periodically. If we make changes to our MAPP, we will revise the “Last updated” date on this page. Your continued use of the Chowbotics mobile app after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, This MAPP does not apply to information: (a) we may collect through other means such as through our website;  (b) you provide to us; or (c) is collected by any third party such as third party payment processors. Personal information:

We do not collect any personal information about you with your use of our mobile app. If you want us to email you an electronic receipt for your purchase at our food robot, we will use the email address you provide through our mobile app to  email you an electronic receipt using the Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) hosted on AWS. Children:

The Chowbotics mobile app is not directed to or intended for use by children under 13 years of age.  We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information.

 

Order data:

To efficiently retrieve and dispense the correct order for you, we assign and store a unique Order ID for each order placed using our mobile app. We store the following information about each order: price, tax, discount, contents of the food bowl ordered, and feedback about the ordering experience; without any information or details that may identify you.

In addition to this order-specific information, we collect and store aggregated analytics related to sales, e.g., Bowls Per Day along with hourly, weekly, and monthly trends, and ingredient usage, and related to food robot’s health, e.g., temperature logs, uptime, downtime, and error conditions. A Chowbotics customer that owns one or more food robots can access the above information for its robots only.

 

Transactional information:

When you place an order using our mobile app at one of our food robots, third-party PCI-compliant payment processors such as USA Technologies will process your credit or payment card information and any other information you may submit to them in accordance with their own terms of service and privacy policies. We recommend you review such third-party terms and policies before providing any information.  A Transaction ID is assigned and stored for each transaction to uniquely identify the record at the payment processor.

 

Chowbotics mobile app data:

If you use the Chowbotics mobile app, it may use technology to automatically collect logs for debugging purposes.
